Your recruitDC Weekend Checklist!

By Matt Duren

If you’re like me, you have a ton of stuff to do this weekend. I’m not trying to add to your to-do list, but what I’m asking you to do is not only productive, it has some great personal rewards associated with it!  I’ve made it simple for you by creating your very own #recruitDC weekend checklist:

1.       Respond to Susan LaMotte's survey. Susan introduced her survey earlier this week and we’re excited to see what comes from it. Results will be shared during her keynote address at the Fall event.

2.       Record your #rDCImpact video submission. Monday brings the kickoff to the #rDCImpact video contest and your chance to win a free ticket to the Fall event. Spend a moment or two this weekend to create your video entry and share it first thing Monday morning via Twitter! To learn more, watch our video or read the recent blog!

3.       Get your recruitDC Fall 2015 tickets. Use your Friday to get permission from your manager to purchase and attend the event on November 19 at the TEGNA HQ in McLean. Tickets are moving rather quickly. Get yours today before we sell out!

So there you go! You can check everything off your to-do list in about 9 minutes - 5 min for your survey, 1 minute for your video, 3 minutes to get manager approval and buy your ticket! You can walk into the office Monday morning knowing you’ve accomplished a great deal over the weekend and feel good about it!

Happy Friday and here’s to a great weekend!
